Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master / .NET Developer for a 12-month contract focused on guiding development teams through a significant transformation. The successful candidate will oversee two to three teams, ensuring the integration of Scrum practices while also contributing to hands-on .NET development when necessary. The ideal individual will not only manage the Scrum ceremonies but also engage actively with the teams and stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and visibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for multiple development teams.
- Enhance delivery discipline, ensuring work items are updated regularly and team capacity is clear.
- Identify blockers, risks, and dependencies proactively to prevent delivery delays.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to create, structure, and prioritize backlogs.
- Establish and manage separate team or workstream backlogs as the organization evolves.
- Support the migration and configuration of delivery processes within Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Advise on the structure of products, workstreams, and team responsibilities as the model develops.
- Contribute to .NET / ASP.NET development and assist with code reviews and deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master within technical development teams.
- Proficiency in managing multiple teams simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with .NET / ASP.NET development.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or Jira.
- Experience in creating and managing technical backlogs.
- Ability to challenge teams and enhance accountability.
- Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, inquisitive, and self-motivated.
