Overview
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate the successful delivery of a range of technology change initiatives within a specialist insurer. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Architects to enhance Agile team performance and ensure timely project delivery. Your experience in navigating multiple technical projects will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Remove blockers impacting delivery teams to enhance productivity.
- Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles and best practices to ensure effective practices.
- Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritization efforts.
- Track delivery progress, sprint metrics, and overall team performance.
- Foster collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders to align efforts.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes.
- Assist in the successful delivery of multiple concurrent technology projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master managing multiple IT workstreams.
- Experience delivering technology-focused projects such as system implementations, platform upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Demonstrable ability to remove delivery blockers and improve team performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Experience collaborating with technical delivery teams, including Developers and Business Analysts.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
