Overview
The Security Solution Architect will be responsible for defining the future-state network and identity architecture for a multi-site organization, focusing on minimizing attack paths and ensuring robust controls within day-to-day operations. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, managed service providers, and third parties to gather security requirements and transform them into actionable design. Working on a hybrid basis, the architect will lead design decisions and technical risk assessments over an initial three-month contract period.
Responsibilities
- Define the future-state network architecture across a multi-site WAN and Azure networking.
- Set the identity and access control strategy for Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Design segmentation approaches based on Zero Trust principles for stores and cloud environments.
- Convert audit findings into actionable technical remediation plans.
- Act as the design authority for architecture documentation and technical risk decisions.
- Gather security requirements from stakeholders and incorporate them into the design.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in security architecture and solution design with network and identity focus.
- Hands-on experience with hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID, including Conditional Access.
- Proficiency in Fortinet architecture and designing network segmentation.
- Experience with multi-site WAN architecture.
- Ability to translate audit findings into effective remediation plans.
- Confidence in engaging with various stakeholders including internal teams and third-party providers.
