Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join a technology company focused on creating AI systems for regulated and security-sensitive environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and operating secure cloud infrastructure, with an emphasis on GKE/Kubernetes and Terraform. This contract role is ideal for individuals with hands-on GCP experience, active SC clearance, and expertise in working within restricted environments.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate production infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work extensively with GKE and Kubernetes.
- Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
- Own CI/CD, automation, monitoring and observability.
- Support secure deployments across restricted and disconnected environments.
- Work across networking, security and infrastructure hardening.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on GCP experience, ideally as a core part of your recent work.
- Strong experience with GKE and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Solid background in Linux and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation tools.
- Active SC clearance required.
