Overview
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer, specializing in React and TypeScript, to work with a technology consultancy on a software engineering project in a heavily regulated environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading frontend development, creating complex user interfaces, and integrating backend services. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and utilizing AI tools to enhance development efficiency, with a predominantly remote working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Translate wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys into production-ready interfaces.
- Build complex dynamic forms with conditional logic, validation, and autosave functionality.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.
- Implement authentication, SSO, and role-based user access.
- Develop automated frontend tests using modern JavaScript testing frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and structured release processes.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in React and TypeScript.
- Advanced understanding of React hooks, component design, and state management.
- Experience in UI/UX design, wireframing, and interactive prototyping.
- Knowledge of REST API integration and role-based access controls.
- Experience developing complex applications and enterprise solutions.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Proficiency in frontend testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools like Claude Code.
