Overview
This role involves taking technical ownership of building Vaultier's private collection-management platform MVP and ensuring its secure deployment. The Senior Full-stack Engineer will work collaboratively with product, UX, and QA teams while leveraging AI-assisted development tools as needed. This remote position offers a flexible commitment of four days per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable software that meets the needs of high-value collectors.
Responsibilities
- Recommend the simplest secure technical approach for the MVP.
- Build the responsive web application across frontend and backend.
- Convert approved designs and early generated screens into production-ready interfaces.
- Design and maintain the application architecture and data model.
- Implement account creation, authentication, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Build role-based permissions for various user types.
- Implement actions, approvals, requests, and notifications.
- Write automated tests and support independent QA.
Requirements
- At least six years of professional software-development experience.
- Strong full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience delivering a startup MVP from build through release.
- Strong frontend and responsive-web development skills.
- Strong backend, API, and relational-database experience.
- Experience implementing authentication and role-based permissions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Product, UX, and QA.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
