Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a product-focused team dedicated to developing customer-facing digital solutions for a leading financial services organization. This hands-on role involves full ownership of the software lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and support, utilising modern cloud-native technologies on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, driving engineering best practices and contributing to the overall architecture while mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy scalable, secure applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
- Develop across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud services.
- Drive engineering best practices and maintain technical quality.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in their development.
Requirements
- Strong full stack engineering experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React (Angular or Vue also acceptable).
- Experience in backend development with .NET, Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Background in delivering customer-facing products in agile environments.
