Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with extensive experience in React and TypeScript for a contract role starting in early September. In this position, you will take full ownership of your designated area, collaborating with a fast-paced team to deliver high-quality software solutions from front to back, while maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders. The position is remote-first, allowing flexibility, with office space available when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Build across the stack using TypeScript, focusing on React for the front end.
- Own a self-contained area of the build, managing it end to end.
- Make technical decisions regarding your area of responsibility.
- Collaborate closely with the wider team to ensure seamless integration.
- Design and develop scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
- Engage in proactive communication to keep the team aligned.
- Ensure delivery meets the agreed timelines.
- Utilize deep knowledge of Node (Express or NestJS) for backend development.
Requirements
- Extensive commercial experience with TypeScript for both front and back end.
- Deep expertise in React for front-end development.
- Experience with backend development using Node.js (Express or NestJS).
- Proven experience in designing and building scalable APIs.
- Strong ability to work independently in owning a self-contained build area.
- Demonstrated strong and proactive communication skills.
- Willingness to be available for a contract length of 3-6 months.
- Located within 50 miles of specified UK locations or Bucharest, Iasi, or Cluj.
