Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to play a key role in a fast-growing travel-tech organization focused on a major product evolution. This position involves leading the development of high-traffic, consumer-facing systems used across Europe, working with a dynamic team to implement new features and enhance system performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of a large-scale Java, Springboot, and MySQL application.
- Design and implement new backend features to improve system capabilities.
- Conduct unit testing, API testing, and system improvements for both web and mobile clients.
- Contribute to shared architecture and backend design patterns to ensure consistency across services.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in building and maintaining commercial, production-scale applications.
- Proficiency in Java, Springboot (server-side development, API design).
- Expertise in MySQL (performance optimization, complex queries).
- Experience architecting and maintaining distributed backend systems.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, API design, and scalable service architecture.
