Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer for a contract role focused on hands-on network and security engineering. The contractor will work with a team to educate and support in enhancing technical skills, while also engaging in active project documentation. This role involves managing SD WAN traffic and enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring robust security and connectivity across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Cato administration for SD WAN traffic.
- Educate and support the engineering team in network security practices.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network performance issues.
- Document engineering processes and configuration changes.
- Configure and administer Cisco Meraki systems.
- Manage enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
- Support cloud connectivity and hybrid infrastructure initiatives.
- Engage in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hands-on Cato administration and SD WAN traffic management.
- Strong understanding of routing, traffic policies, and network connectivity.
- Practical experience with enterprise network infrastructure management.
- In-depth knowledge of network security practices, including firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki configuration and administration.
- Experience with cloud connectivity and hybrid infrastructure is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.
- Experience in project documentation and team mentorship.
