Overview
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with Enhanced DV Clearance for a contract opportunity focused on building a new multi-cloud platform for Defence and National Security programmes. In collaboration with a dedicated engineering team, the contractor will take responsibility for the design, development, and deployment of secure and scalable AWS infrastructure, playing a critical role in shaping advanced technological solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a new multi-cloud platform from the ground up.
- Develop secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate platform deployments.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Establish platform engineering standards, security, and automation practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Active Enhanced DV (eDV) clearance is required.
- Strong AWS Platform Engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
- Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Linux and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
- Experience in designing and building cloud platforms.
