Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a significant payment transformation project within a global commerce marketplace. The successful candidate will oversee the transition from vendor selection through to implementation of a new payments solution, working closely with both internal teams and external payment providers. This role demands hands-on experience in managing payment platform integrations and migrations.
Responsibilities
- Support the RFP and vendor selection process for full-stack payment providers.
- Establish the relationship and delivery model with the selected payments provider.
- Lead the end-to-end integration of the new payment provider into existing technology systems.
- Create and manage the delivery roadmap from mobilization to production launch.
- Develop and manage a structured migration plan to transition customers to the new platform.
- Ensure the stability of the existing payments platform during the transition period.
- Act as the key interface between Finance and Technology teams throughout the program.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on payments transformation.
- Demonstrated history of leading major payments implementations with providers like Stripe, Worldpay, or Adyen.
- Experience in coordinating vendor and internal teams across complex technology landscapes.
- Knowledge of dependency management and governance practices.
- Strong stakeholder communication and planning skills.
- Hands-on expertise in migration and decommissioning processes of legacy systems.
