Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in full stack development with a backend focus, to join our Agile team in delivering secure, cloud-based digital services. This fully remote contract position offers an opportunity to work on a high-profile programme, collaborating with other engineers on architecture and technical design while ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Ideal candidates will have strong .NET/C# skills, some React experience, and active SC Clearance, with a solid understanding of RESTful APIs and cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using .NET / C# and React.
- Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
- Design and deploy cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with .NET and C#.
- Ideally some React development experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
- Experience on secure or government programmes, or public sector projects.
