Overview
We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared AWS DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract position. The successful candidate will support a growing software and digital delivery environment, collaborating with various teams to manage and deploy web applications and platforms effectively. This remote role is ideal for professionals with a robust background in AWS and DevOps, particularly those who have worked within digital agencies or software consultancies.
Responsibilities
- Support and deploy multiple web applications and client platforms.
- Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
- Maintain and optimize Linux and web application infrastructure.
- Oversee web hosting, DNS, CDNs, load balancers, and web servers.
- Utilize Docker and/or Kubernetes for application management.
- Provide support for various applications and environments.
- Work within a multi-client environment in a digital agency or consultancy.
Requirements
- Active SC Clearance.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with Linux and web application infrastructure.
- Knowledge of web hosting solutions, DNS, CDNs, and web servers.
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Understanding of open-source CMS or e-commerce platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Magento.
