Overview
We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to lead a greenfield inventory management project remotely from the UK. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the project delivery team, guiding the full design lifecycle from initial research and problem definition to high-fidelity prototyping and user testing. Collaborating closely with stakeholders in business, product, and engineering, you will ensure that design decisions are informed by real user insights and technical considerations.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and problem definition processes, conducting research with stakeholders and end users.
- Produce wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, adhering to the existing design system.
- Plan and conduct usability testing, analyzing data to refine designs before build and release.
- Collaborate within the team’s sprint cadence, maintaining design direction and standards set by the Design Lead.
- Facilitate workshops to build shared understanding of user needs among team members.
- Maintain documentation to ensure traceability between requirements and design outputs.
- Present research findings and design solutions effectively to non-design stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience with generative and evaluative research methods, including interviews and usability testing.
- Ability to effectively communicate research insights to non-design audiences.
- Experience working within an engineering-led environment and agile delivery structures.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and high-quality deliverables.
