Overview
The SFCC DevOps/Platform Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing and managing the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platform. They will collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to implement robust solutions that optimize the e-commerce environment while also ensuring system integrity and performance. This is a 12-month contract position requiring a mix of onsite and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions for Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud.
- Manage Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud architecture, including SFRA, ISML, and APIs.
- Integrate payment gateways and tax solutions within the commerce checkout process.
- Configure Salesforce Service Cloud functionalities such as Omni-Channel and Case Management.
- Oversee order management system integrations and business management configurations.
- Conduct performance tuning and enhance core web vitals on commerce pages.
- Coordinate sandbox and staging orchestration for effective release management.
- Utilize JavaScript, SCSS, and jQuery for front-end optimizations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, including SFRA and ISML.
- Familiarity with Commerce checkout processes, payment gateways, and tax systems.
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and its core functionalities.
- Strong knowledge of order management integration patterns within SFCC.
- Proficiency in CI/CD processes and release management with tools like Copado.
- Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integration such as MuleSoft.
- Experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript (ES6+), SCSS, jQuery; Vue/React exposure is a plus.
- Ability to conduct performance tuning and manage caching for e-commerce platforms.
