Overview
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of wastewater treatment plant projects in North Wales. The role involves coordination and management of various site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve project goals. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to navigate operational complexities across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of activities across multiple wastewater sites.
- Coordinate site surveys, investigations, and monitoring activities related to emergency overflow operations.
- Ensure safe and compliant execution of works within live operational environments.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and specialist contractors to meet performance standards.
- Monitor project progress against the schedule and identify potential delays or risks.
- Support the completion and handover of project deliverables and documentation.
- Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders regarding site issues and project requirements.
- Implement health, safety, environmental, and quality controls ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Agent in the water and wastewater sector.
- Demonstrable knowledge of construction methodologies, particularly in civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors within live operational environments.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites, including CDM 2015.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital project reporting systems.
- Required certifications: SMSTS, appropriate CSCS card, and First Aid certification.
- Experienced in coordinating activities and managing risks across multiple project sites.
