Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer for a long-term, 12-month contract role. You will work within a collaborative Agile team, contributing to both frontend and backend development of modern digital services. This role requires effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaborating closely with product and delivery teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Design, build, and deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Collaborate with product, design, delivery, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer.
- Proven ability to work across both frontend and backend development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working within Agile, cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices.
- Previous experience in the public sector and delivering services aligned with GDS standards is a plus.
