Solution Architect

Overview

The Solution Architect will play a crucial role in shaping the target-state solution architecture for a Private Equity client's NAV operating model. This position requires a senior and self-sufficient professional who will collaborate closely with AI and Data leads, and engage directly with clients to outline technical requirements and ensure the design's adaptability for future phases. The contract is set for an initial duration of eight weeks, commencing in early September.

Responsibilities

  • Own the target-state Solution and Integration Architecture for the NAV operating model.
  • Define how core platforms interact with the ODS and associated layers.
  • Ensure the architecture design is flexible and extensible for future processes.
  • Define technical requirements and non-functional requirements to implementation-ready standards.
  • Conduct build-vs-buy assessments and support feasibility proof of concepts as necessary.
  • Lead and participate in workshops with AI and Data teams to refine solutions.
  • Produce deliverables independently, working with oversight from the technical lead.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, particularly in the Private Equity or financial services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of NAV operating models and associated technology stacks.
  • Experience with systems such as Aurum, Finbourne, LemonEdge, and others mentioned.
  • Ability to define technical requirements to an implementation-ready standard.
  • Experience in leading assessments and feasibility analyses in technology projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for client engagement.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
