Overview
The Solution Architect will play a crucial role in defining the target-state solution architecture for the Private Markets NAV Operating Model within a private equity context. Working independently and closely with stakeholders, the Architect will ensure that the systems are designed for flexibility and future extensibility, while also leading workshops to align on technical requirements. This is an 8-week initial contract position focused on delivering high-quality architectural solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition of the target-state Solution and Integration Architecture for the NAV operating model.
- Define how core platforms interact with the operational data store and potentially other layers.
- Set technical requirements and non-functional requirements to an implementation-ready standard.
- Conduct build-vs-buy assessments from a technology perspective.
- Support feasibility proof of concepts (POCs) if required.
- Collaborate closely with AI and Data leads to facilitate workshops and discussions.
- Produce deliverables independently with oversight from the tech lead.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, particularly in the private equity or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of NAV operating models and associated technologies (e.g., Aurum, Finbourne, LemonEdge, Mantra, Vincilium, FIS, Goji, CoBase).
- Expertise in defining solution and integration architecture.
- Ability to conduct assessments and guide decisions on build-vs-buy strategies.
- Demonstrated experience leading workshops and engaging with clients effectively.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills to produce deliverables and documentation.
