Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead a major technology transformation programme focusing on Azure cloud, data platforms, application modernisation, and DevOps. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure complex technology delivery is executed effectively, utilising strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of technical processes.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical delivery across multiple workstreams and releases.
- Lead Agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release governance.
- Oversee cloud, data engineering, application development, and DevOps teams.
- Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure successful technical delivery.
- Drive engineering best practices, quality assurance, and production readiness.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in technology delivery, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud and data transformation programmes.
- Technical knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
- Understanding of .NET, Angular, APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Agile delivery experience using Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management with experience leading distributed engineering teams.
- Experience within financial services, professional services, or regulated environments is desirable.
