Overview
As a Technology Change Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives within a well-established investment firm. Working closely with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, you will establish clear visibility of project statuses, priorities, and resource allocations while ensuring the successful delivery of technology projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a clear view of the Technology project portfolio.
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, actions, and delivery across concurrent projects.
- Build visibility across Technology capacity and competing BAU/change demands.
- Coordinate priorities and resource requirements across different teams.
- Establish proportionate portfolio governance, reporting, and escalation.
- Personally manage selected technology projects through to delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
- Drive actions, unblock issues, and keep time-critical projects on track.
Requirements
- Strong technology project, programme or portfolio management experience.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technology initiatives.
- Portfolio governance, capacity planning and resource management experience.
- Strong planning, dependency, risk and milestone management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority.
- Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable driving actions through to completion.
- Experience in environments without a mature PMO is beneficial.
- Desirable: Private equity, investment management or financial services experience.
