Overview
The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will support an innovative project aimed at automating complex data transformation processes using AI and LLMs. This contract role involves evaluating AI tools through proof of concept tests, designing workflows, and automating data-related tasks, while collaborating with stakeholders. The role requires both on-site attendance in Bristol during specific phases and remote work for the remainder of the contract.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI/LLM tools through rapid proof of concept tests on actual datasets.
- Automate data mapping, standardisation, matching, and exception handling.
- Design auditable workflows and recommend optimal long-term solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effectiveness of AI implementations.
- Utilize ETL/data transformation tools to streamline processes.
- Address practical challenges related to messy data.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AI, LLM, or intelligent automation delivery.
- Strong skills in ETL/data transformation tools, including Power Query, Alteryx, OpenRefine, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver proof of concepts quickly and effectively engage stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience dealing with messy data challenges.
- Ability to work hybrid, with an initial and final phase requiring on-site presence in Bristol.
