Overview
We are seeking a Build Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of radio access network (RAN) sites across a designated region as part of a next-generation UK mobile network initiative. This role involves collaboration with delivery partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that sites are constructed and activated safely, within budget, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional in network deployment, focused on enhancing connectivity and reliability for customers across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of RAN sites from initial nomination to handover into operations.
- Work closely with delivery partners and suppliers throughout design, acquisition, build, and activation phases.
- Ensure sites are delivered on time, meeting quality standards and budget requirements.
- Manage relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to address issues and maintain delivery momentum.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues that may affect delivery timelines or quality.
- Establish effective governance, reporting, and processes for the regional deployment program.
- Monitor site costs against budgets and forecasts to ensure financial compliance.
- Collaborate with partners to address performance issues and escalate as necessary.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in RAN deployment programs, ideally working with multiple suppliers and delivery partners.
- Technical knowledge in network site deployment areas such as design, acquisition, or build.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols in network deployment.
- Ability to build relationships across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders effectively.
- Leadership skills with proven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience utilizing data and insights for operational and strategic decisions.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and dependencies.
