Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst to assist in a key transformation project focused on a new Pricing & Billing system. The contractor will collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and operational stakeholders, along with development teams, to develop detailed requirements and manage an Agile backlog in a hybrid working environment. This role is crucial for ensuring a seamless integration of systems and improvements to the customer order journey.
Responsibilities
- Review existing discovery outputs and functional specifications.
- Lead workshops and interviews to gather detailed business requirements.
- Define pricing and billing rules including financial calculations and invoicing processes.
- Identify necessary changes across existing systems and integrations.
- Document business rules and detailed requirements in Confluence.
- Translate requirements into Jira epics and user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with developers to refine the backlog and manage dependencies.
- Maintain requirements traceability and validate delivered functionality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business analysis for pricing, billing, or financial systems.
- Strong Agile delivery skills, including backlog management and user story development.
- Understanding of financial business rules and billing processes.
- Experience defining changes across interconnected systems and data flows.
- Strong documentation skills using Jira and Confluence.
- Confidence in engaging with Commercial and Finance stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to resolving requirements and dependencies.
- Logistics or supply chain experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
