Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a robust background in EDI and integrations for a remote contract position lasting 6-9 months. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure seamless data flows and integration processes. The ideal candidate will possess the technical acumen to translate business needs into actionable requirements and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and document EDI and system-to-system integrations.
- Work with UBL, EDIFACT, XML, APIs, and data mappings.
- Understand the business meaning and semantics behind data.
- Collaborate with suppliers, EDI partners, developers, and internal technical teams.
- Produce detailed requirements, user stories, and development tasks.
- Support integration testing, on-boarding, and implementation activities.
- Challenge ambiguous requirements and formulate sensible assumptions.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Requirements
- Strong EDI experience in a Technical Business Analyst capacity.
- Proven experience in integration/data environments, including APIs and system integrations.
- Expertise in requirements gathering and technical documentation.
- Solid understanding of business data and operational processes.
- Experience collaborating with developers and external technical partners.
- Comfortable bridging Business Analysis, Data, and Technical Integration domains.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
