Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a fully-remote Outside IR35 contract. This role is focused on supporting the delivery and enhancement of technology and business processes within a legal sector programme. The successful candidate will collaborate with legal, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and a thorough understanding of business needs and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and requirements.
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional and process requirements.
- Analyse existing legal processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of legal technology platforms.
- Map As-Is and To-Be processes and assist in process redesign activities.
- Work closely with delivery teams, developers, testers, and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and validate requirements during implementation.
- Ensure solutions address legal data, workflows, and business requirements effectively.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst within the legal sector is essential.
- Experience working in a law firm or legal services organisation.
- Strong understanding of legal business processes and workflows.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience in process mapping and business process improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with legal technology platforms such as ShareDo/Clio Operate is highly desirable.
