Overview
The Business Product Governance Analyst will play a key role in supporting Product Governance functions, ensuring that new product approvals and governance records are effectively managed. The contractor will collaborate closely with business teams and stakeholders in the Banking and Financial Services industry to maintain compliance and support governance activities. This role requires a proactive approach to managing governance trackers and documenting controls while facilitating committee meetings and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support Product Governance activities, including new product approval materials and governance records.
- Coordinate Product Governance Committee and UK governance forums, managing agendas and documentation.
- Maintain policy and procedure governance trackers, ensuring compliance evidence is properly recorded.
- Support the governance framework, including control documentation and performance evidence.
- Coordinate risk assessments, control attestations, and other first-line risk activities.
- Prepare management reporting packs and audit evidence on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain governance repositories for documentation and compliance materials.
- Collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of governance activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Governance, Controls, or Risk roles.
- Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services.
- Understanding of UK banking governance and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of operational control frameworks and reporting environments.
- Experience with risk and control documentation, including RCSA and risk registers.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities.
