Overview
We are seeking a Centric PLM Consultant with expertise in Centric Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to support a significant upgrade to the latest version of Centric PLM. The consultant will play a vital role in aligning technical and business outcomes while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and third-party partners. This position typically requires on-site presence in London 1-2 days per week, focusing on delivering effective solutions and fostering continuous improvement within our client's PLM systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and shape scalable, reliable, and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with product and business strategy.
- Implement and configure changes within Centric PLM and associated systems.
- Design and optimise PLM workflows to meet business needs, providing guidance on best practices.
- Work closely with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver successful business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous platform improvement.
- Support data migration and data transformation into Centric PLM environments.
- Provide guidance to testing teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of issues during both implementation and operational phases.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Centric PLM, particularly Versions 7 or 8, in a retail or eCommerce environment.
- Strong understanding of PLM processes, workflows, configuration, and best practices.
- Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable, enterprise-ready technology solutions.
- Proficiency in PLM implementation, configuration, and system changes.
- Knowledge of data migration and data transformation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across implementation and operational environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, technology teams, product teams, and third-party partners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with a continuous-improvement mindset.
