Overview
The DC Network Engineer will play a critical role in designing and implementing network solutions for data centers, with a primary focus on routing and switching technologies. The engineer will primarily work remotely but may require occasional travel to customer sites. This position mandates extensive experience in network engineering, particularly with hands-on implementation of wireless systems and VMware NSX.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network solutions for data centers.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve network-related issues.
- Configure and manage routing and switching technologies.
- Oversee the deployment of wireless technologies and virtualized network solutions.
- Set up and maintain firewall and load balancer systems.
- Provide support and documentation for network configurations and updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on routing and switching.
- Hands-on implementation experience in wireless systems for at least 4 years.
- Proficiency in VMware NSX, DFW, and Firewall with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Familiarity with DNS and SDWAN concepts.
- Experience in deploying R&S and Nexus solutions.
