Overview
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Performance & Governance Consultant to design and implement a robust delivery performance framework for a large enterprise organization. The consultant will work closely with technology leadership and various delivery partners to standardize performance measurements and ensure that the organization has a clear, actionable view of partner performance. This role will involve collaborating with multiple stakeholders to establish consistent reporting and governance processes, and is focused on building a sustainable operating model rather than executing existing contracts.
Responsibilities
- Design a delivery performance framework for consistent application across all delivery partners.
- Define a comprehensive measurement model encompassing delivery quality, predictability, and risk.
- Create processes to aggregate delivery data from various tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Develop executive scorecards and dashboards to provide insight into multi-partner delivery.
- Run the initial cycle of partner assessments to calibrate the new performance framework.
- Establish governance cadence for ongoing performance reviews and interventions for underperformance.
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams and external partners to agree on reporting standards.
- Prepare and present performance findings and recommendations to senior technology leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing delivery performance frameworks for large enterprise environments.
- Direct experience in measuring and governing delivery performance of global systems integrators.
- Strong hands-on capability in aggregating delivery data from tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated ability to produce executive-level scorecards and dashboards.
- Experience engaging with CTO, CIO, and CxO level stakeholders as well as delivery partners.
- Background in enterprise portfolio governance or technology delivery consulting.
- Experience holding delivery partners accountable for performance and improvement planning.
