Overview
The Enterprise Solutions Architect will be engaged in a six-month contract focused on transforming the digital operations of a global consumer business. The role requires hands-on involvement in crafting solution designs that bridge modern cloud platforms with legacy systems, while also guiding the implementation of integration strategies across key business domains such as Guest Experience, Finance, and HR. The contractor will work closely with senior leadership and various stakeholders to ensure that architectural designs are practical and effective in solving complex integration challenges.
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end solutions across multiple business domains.
- Lead high-level designs for major programmes and oversee delivery integration.
- Resolve integration challenges between cloud-native services, SaaS platforms, and legacy systems.
- Run proof of concepts to validate technology choices before committing to roadmaps.
- Translate architectural risks into commercial terms for senior leadership.
- Engage in Architecture Review Board governance as applicable.
- Maintain a focus on security, identity, and encryption throughout the architecture process.
- Foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders to achieve decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong background in cloud platforms, API-led integration, and event-driven architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to work with legacy systems and understand their integration challenges.
- Experience with Finance and HR systems is preferred, particularly in ERP environments.
- Deep understanding of security, identity, and encryption principles.
- Capacity to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Ability to work hands-on with technical teams during the solution development process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to technical architecture.
