Overview
We are seeking a Freelance Statistician to provide expertise in indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs) and network meta-analysis (NMA) within the health technology assessment (HTA) sector. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in a leading life sciences consultancy that supports pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. The successful candidate will contribute to evidence generation, strategy development, and impactful analytical insights for market access decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic statistical and health economics expertise for global clinical development and commercialization strategies through ITCs and NMAs.
- Design and deliver robust evidence-generation plans, including survival and utility analyses for HTA and reimbursement submissions.
- Collaborate with global teams to align evidence strategies and communicate analytical insights.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and monitor evolving Access/HTA trends to maintain current evidence-generation approaches.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, Access/HTA/reimbursement agency, or academic institution.
- In-depth knowledge of Access and HTA, clinical research methods, and international payer evidence requirements.
- Proficient in statistical methods such as Generalized Linear Models, Survival analysis, NMA, and Bayesian statistics.
- Skilled in R and GitLab, with additional experience in SAS, Python, WinBUGS, or JAGS being a plus.
- Strong strategic, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively convey insights.
