Overview
The IT Project Manager will oversee a variety of technology initiatives within a leading private equity firm, focusing on infrastructure, applications, data, and overall transformation efforts. Collaborating with technology teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders, the contractor will prioritize and manage the delivery of concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clear communication and governance throughout the processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple technology projects from scoping through delivery.
- Own project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and budgets.
- Prioritise initiatives across the wider technology portfolio.
- Work directly with deal captains and senior business stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal technology teams and external vendors.
- Provide concise reporting, governance, and escalation.
- Identify delivery risks and drive issues through to resolution.
Requirements
- Strong IT project or programme management experience.
- Experience delivering multiple concurrent technology initiatives.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong project planning, governance, risk, and dependency management capabilities.
- Experience managing vendors and cross-functional technology teams.
- Comfortable operating autonomously with rapidly changing priorities.
- Desirable: Experience in private equity, investment management, or financial services.
