Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Lead Developer to lead the design, analysis, and development of complex database solutions within a hybrid work environment. This role involves collaboration with solution architects and business stakeholders, mentoring junior developers, and driving the technical direction of Oracle database projects. The successful candidate will manage the full software development lifecycle and play a crucial role in delivering robust, scalable database solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of database solutions in collaboration with solution architects and business stakeholders.
- Create and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDDs), ensuring clarity and adherence to specifications.
- Develop, review, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL code including Procedures, Packages, Functions, and Views.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold development standards.
- Coordinate with architects and stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design to deployment.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for the development team.
- Provide technical expertise and contribute to architectural design decisions during project planning sessions.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Developer with expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle Database 19C.
- Proven track record of leading database development projects end-to-end.
- Strong proficiency in writing, reviewing, and optimizing complex PL/SQL code (Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, Views).
- Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
- Experience in producing Technical Design Documents and formal SDLC processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.
