Overview
We are looking for an experienced M365 IT Project Lead to spearhead communication, collaboration, and employee experience initiatives within a global enterprise environment. The contractor will work with business stakeholders and third-party partners to ensure the successful delivery and effective adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions, while managing project delivery and supplier relationships. This is a contract position initially set for six months, operating outside of IR35 regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of digital workplace projects within Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Drive user adoption and change management initiatives to ensure successful business outcomes.
- Coordinate with third-party implementation partners to oversee quality and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, and status reports.
- Facilitate workshops and gather requirements to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Support governance processes and provide updates to project sponsors regularly.
- Guide the adoption of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and other M365 capabilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to align project activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 projects in global organizations.
- Strong project management skills, including planning and risk management.
- Knowledge of digital workplace and employee experience solutions, particularly intranet technologies.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and implementation partners.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams deployment and migration practices.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and modern intranet solutions.
- Background in organizational change management and user adoption strategies.
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders across business and technology units.
