Overview
In this role, the contractor will act as a Modern Endpoint and EUC Architect, leading the design and delivery of workplace solutions across various Microsoft platforms. They will work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to assess environments, define architectures, and implement endpoint strategies while ensuring compliance with security standards. This position focuses on providing technical leadership and shaping requirements for significant M&A and integration projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and delivery of modern endpoint solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies.
- Assess current environments and define target-state architectures and migration approaches.
- Produce high-quality design documentation, including implementation plans and architectural artifacts.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the discovery, design, implementation, and transition phases.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and guide decision-making through workshops.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including technical input to proposals and delivery estimates.
- Design secure, scalable solutions in alignment with Zero Trust principles and compliance requirements.
- Support practice development through the creation of reusable standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in architecting and delivering complex endpoint solutions for enterprise customers.
- Significant experience in technical consulting, engineering, or architecture roles focused on endpoint management and security.
- Strong ability to produce assessments, strategies, and architectural documents.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-102, SC-300, or AZ-104 are desirable.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune across various operating systems, including Windows and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in endpoint security controls and design strategies underpinned by Zero Trust principles.
- Experience with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for automation and operational efficiency.
- Understanding of Active Directory, hybrid identity management, and Microsoft 365 integration.
