Overview
In this role, the PKI Engineer will lead efforts to enhance enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in a secure digital identity framework, balancing hands-on engineering and strategic platform development. Collaborating with cloud security engineers, the contractor will focus on improving certificate and identity services while supporting the onboarding of critical applications and managing enterprise risk. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and automation of enterprise PKI and certificate services.
- Collaborate with cloud security engineers to enhance identity services and support critical application onboarding.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents, managing risks effectively.
- Support and manage changes and releases for enterprise services.
- Make sound architectural decisions and communicate them clearly within the team.
- Maintain the security and availability of enterprise PKI services.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise PKI and certificate services.
- Background in security engineering, able to make and communicate architectural decisions.
- Experience with cloud identity services, particularly Microsoft Entra/Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency with AppViewX PKI.
- Ability to work effectively across project delivery and live enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of Delinea Secret Server or Saviynt is desirable.
- Eligibility to hold SC clearance is required.
