Overview
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join a leading organization on a 12-month contract, focused on supporting a new greenfield project. The contractor will work primarily with cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP while developing CI/CD pipelines and utilizing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. This role requires in-person collaboration in London two days a week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines from scratch using AWS or GCP.
- Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to support and deploy applications on EKS or GKE.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices in DevOps.
- Monitor and improve system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience in working with Kubernetes, specifically EKS or GKE.
- Background in DevOps practices and principles.
- Ability to work on-site in London two days a week.
