Overview
The Product Designer (UX/UI) will join a global retail client's team on a contract basis to enhance customer experiences as they adapt their product for a new European market. This role involves end-to-end ownership of design tasks, working closely with product, engineering, and localization teams to deliver high-quality UX/UI solutions. The designer will utilize AI tools to streamline workflows and will be part of a mature design culture focused on innovative B2C solutions.
Responsibilities
- Adapt, localise and refine existing web and app experiences for a new market.
- Own design tasks end-to-end from concept through to execution and handoff.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering and localisation stakeholders.
- Apply UX thinking and high-quality UI craft across web and app touchpoints.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate design workflows, exploration and iteration.
Requirements
- Demonstrated high-ownership as a proactive designer who sees work through.
- Strong foundations in both UX and UI design with research-informed decisions.
- Experience as a Product Designer in B2C/Retail or related sectors.
- Proficient in using AI tools as part of the design process.
- Comfortable working within an established design system and mature product environment.
- Available to start promptly and commit to an initial 3-month contract.
