Overview
The SAP Functional Lead (S/4HANA Public Cloud) will join the Finance Systems Team on a 12-month contract, focusing on the optimisation of the S/4HANA Public Cloud solution within the financial services sector. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and an external partner, providing both strategic and operational support while mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal team leads and external partners to enhance ecosystem improvements.
- Provide expert guidance on system configuration and functionality.
- Deliver front-line support by triaging and resolving incidents for the internal team.
- Assess and implement new release features and upgrades.
- Support the Phase 3 rollout for US-based partners.
- Mentor junior team members and assist a global user base.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SAP experience in a senior consulting role, with a focus on SAP Finance.
- Proven experience in FI/MM/SD and expertise in SAP Procurement, including CIM or an equivalent solution.
- Experience with internal/external reporting and workflows.
- Understanding of SAP Fit to Standard vs Standard methodology.
- Solid grounding in Financial Accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
- UK-based and eligible to work without sponsorship.
