Overview
As a Senior C# IAM Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing secure identity-driven backend services within a leading B2B SaaS company. This position focuses on authentication and authorization while ensuring the platform meets stringent security standards. You will also lead the integration and management of the Auth0 identity platform, collaborating with product and platform teams to embed security throughout the development process.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure backend services in C# & .NET.
- Own and evolve the Auth0 identity platform, including configurations and flows.
- Design and maintain token-based security models (OIDC, OAuth2, JWT lifecycle).
- Build secure event-driven and serverless components using AWS services.
- Lead secure coding practices and conduct code reviews.
- Work closely with teams to ensure security is embedded from design to deployment.
- Improve observability around authentication flows and abuse prevention.
- Contribute to internal security standards and incident response readiness.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience building production systems in C# & .NET.
- Deep knowledge of Auth0, including Actions, Rules, Hooks, and MFA.
- Solid understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and JWT.
- Experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
- Strong grasp of secure coding principles and threat modeling.
- Ability to work independently in high-autonomy environments.
- Bonus: familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD security, or penetration testing.
