Overview
The Senior Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in leading the delivery of user-centered digital services within the public sector. Working with multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will guide the implementation of digital transformation projects while fostering collaboration and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This position offers the opportunity to merge delivery leadership with coaching and strategic consulting in a remote-first environment, with in-person engagements in Liverpool bi-weekly.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery across all service lifecycle stages, applying GDS service standards.
- Coordinate and manage plans across multidisciplinary teams, addressing risks and dependencies.
- Coach teams in agile and lean methodologies to enhance delivery processes and collaboration.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and product owners.
- Manage project budgets, commercial partnerships, and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to business case development and support client proposals and tenders.
Requirements
- Proven track record in delivering public-sector digital services in line with GDS standards.
- Experience leading and coaching multidisciplinary teams through various service stages.
- Strong background in managing complex delivery challenges and stakeholder expectations.
- Effective agile and lean coaching capabilities with a focus on user needs and outcomes.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and governance.
- Availability to start quickly and travel to Liverpool bi-weekly for meetings.
