Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading organization in the Defence industry. This role will focus on enhancing the IT infrastructure by leveraging hands-on expertise in virtualization, advanced networking, Microsoft security technologies, and multi-site infrastructure. The contractor will collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while bringing deep technical knowledge to design, deliver, and support complex systems with precision.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions using Nutanix and Microsoft technologies.
- Administer and support Nutanix clusters and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Manage and configure SD-WAN traffic using Cato.
- Develop virtualized environments and migrate applications from on-premise to cloud.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Document technical processes and infrastructure changes clearly and thoroughly.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Nutanix cluster administration.
- Proficient in managing Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune.
- Hands-on experience with Cato and SD-WAN management.
- Familiarity with enterprise application platforms and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of Cisco Meraki networking configuration is a bonus.
- Capable of working independently and managing senior-level responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
