Solution Architect

Overview

The Solutions Architect will play a key role in defining and leading the target-state solution architecture for a Private Equity organization's NAV operating model. Working independently, this contractor will collaborate with various stakeholders and focus on integrating core platforms, ensuring the architecture is flexible and adaptable for future needs. The position is set for an initial 8-week contract starting in early September and involves significant client interaction and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define the target-state Solution and Integration Architecture for the NAV operating model.
  • Ensure the architecture allows for flexibility and extensibility to additional processes.
  • Lead build-vs-buy assessments and support feasibility proofs of concept (POCs).
  • Collaborate with AI and Data leads, facilitating workshops to reach optimal solutions.
  • Define technical requirements and non-functional requirements (NFRs) to implementation-ready standards.
  • Produce deliverables with minimal oversight from the technical lead.
  • Engage directly with clients to communicate architectural decisions and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably within Private Equity or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of NAV operating models and related platforms such as Aurum, Finbourne, and others.
  • Ability to lead technical assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills tailored for client interaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with integration architectures and technical requirements.
