Overview
As a Technical Lead on this 6-month contract, you will spearhead a range of technical projects while being hands-on with development. Collaborating with an Agile team, you will guide efforts to build bespoke applications that address complex operational challenges, while inspiring and motivating your team.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical projects by leading development teams and contributing to coding efforts.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
- Build full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript, and React.
- Mentor team members to enhance their skills and improve team performance.
- Implement technical solutions that meet project requirements and goals.
- Oversee the application of Agile methodologies in project execution.
- Utilize tools such as Git, BitBucket, and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD processes.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development, with a focus on leadership roles.
- Strong proficiency in Java and associated frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience in building applications with JavaScript and React.
- Familiarity with cloud services and containerization (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and team collaboration practices.
- Knowledge of version control and CI/CD tools, including Git, BitBucket, and Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically in a tech environment.
- Ability to inspire and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced setting.
