Overview
The WMS Developer will focus on developing and customizing Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to meet business requirements within a global supply chain organization. Working closely with a team of developers and project leaders, the contractor will be responsible for system configuration, enhancements, and providing support for incidents and change requests, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the system.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and deploy customizations and integrations for Blue Yonder WMS.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure quality and performance of solutions.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Provide second and third-line support for WMS incidents and change requests.
- Participate in system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Liaise with internal infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse automation.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS in a large-scale distribution environment.
- Strong proficiency in MOCA and SQL development within the Blue Yonder ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Integrator and Page Builder.
- Solid understanding of database architecture, with experience in Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, including basic scripting.
- Experience with integration methods like SFTP, APIs, and web services.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
