Overview
The Senior AI Engineer will engage in a 6-month hands-on AI delivery contract, focusing on identifying and implementing high-value AI opportunities to enhance internal operations. Working closely with stakeholders, the engineer will assess processes, design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions, with an emphasis on automation and data analysis. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to deliver tangible results while collaborating with internal teams and presenting outcomes to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Understand existing operational processes to pinpoint high-value AI opportunities.
- Design, build, and deploy AI solutions for operational improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the technical feasibility of AI projects.
- Conduct technical discovery independently to identify key use cases.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing tools, systems, and data infrastructures.
- Document technical solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer to engineering teams.
- Engage with various technologies, including Python and AI tools, to deliver results.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in AI/ML engineering and delivering production AI solutions.
- Proficiency in Python programming with a solid engineering background.
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and automation technologies.
- Strong understanding of data quality and integration within operational environments.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical solutions effectively.
- Experience working across data, APIs, and software engineering settings.
- Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and documenting technical processes.
