Overview
The Business Analyst (Financial Reporting & EPMO) will play a vital role in supporting an enterprise-level programme with a focus on financial data and reporting oversight. The contractor will collaborate with senior stakeholders across finance and technology teams to gather requirements and enhance reporting and governance processes. This position is particularly suited for candidates with a strong business analysis background and experience in PMO/EPMO environments, and it involves analyzing complex financial data to produce actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and reporting requirements.
- Support portfolio oversight, programme reporting, and governance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, technology, and enterprise programme teams.
- Develop clear documentation, process maps, and storyboards.
- Use Power BI to produce and enhance programme and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for AI-enabled tools within existing processes.
- Maintain requirements and documentation using Jira and Confluence.
- Establish effective processes for new and evolving programmes.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in a complex enterprise environment.
- Previous experience in a PMO or EPMO function.
- Expertise in financial data, financial planning, or programme reporting.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Practical experience with Power BI, especially in reporting and data visualisation.
- Familiarity with programme governance, documentation, and storyboarding.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results quickly.
- Immediate or short-notice availability.
