Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hyper-V Engineer to join a leading FinTech company for a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, deployment, migration, and optimization of Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environments while supporting a VMware to Hyper-V migration project. This position involves hybrid working, allowing for two days in the office per week, and requires a strong background in Windows Server administration and virtualisation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation environments.
- Support VMware to Hyper-V migration projects.
- Optimize existing Hyper-V environments for performance and scalability.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server infrastructure.
- Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation of processes.
- Implement storage technologies relevant to virtualisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and administering Hyper-V environments at scale.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Experience with VMware to Hyper-V migration processes.
